Welcome to CFUW Ajax-Pickering!

About Us

Our club members represent a cross-section of women in our community. We are teachers, business women, homemakers, healthcare professionals, engineers and lawyers. We enjoy sharing ideas, supporting community programs and meeting for a variety of social activities.

Meetings

Monthly meetings are held at the Chestnut Hill Developments Rec Complex on the second Thursday of each month, from September to June. Meetings feature speakers covering a variety of topics of interest to members. Members also enjoy a variety of interest groups providing opportunities for social outings during the club year.

Community Service

As part of the 100 clubs in the CFUW network, the Ajax-Pickering Club is committed to helping women and girls reach their potential. We advocate for equitable rights for women and girls, and for human rights in the area of the environment, education, the workplace and politics. Locally, our club awards scholarships for students in each Ajax and Pickering high school every year.
